Program Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of complex, high-priority projects within a highly regulated environment. While the role is titled at Program Manager level, this position will be hands-on in leading critical project delivery across multiple streams.
This is a key role requiring a seasoned professional to step in and take ownership of complex initiatives, providing leadership, structure, and delivery confidence across projects that are business-critical and highly visible.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple complex projects within a regulated environment
• Take over and uplift existing project streams, providing strong governance and delivery oversight
• Engage and manage senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout delivery
• Drive change, manage risks, and ensure successful outcomes across all project phases
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including technical, business, and vendor stakeholders
• Support planning, prioritisation, and execution across concurrent workstreams

Project Environment
The role will initially focus on a portfolio of critical initiatives, including:

• Enterprise information archiving and records management uplift
• Migration of key business platforms to cloud environments
• Potential future work involving intelligent document processing and automation

Key Requirements

• Proven experience operating at Program Manager level, delivering complex projects in high-pressure environments
• Strong background working within highly regulated industries (e.g. financial services or similar)
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise business applications for commercial clients
• Ability to lead, influence, and manage senior stakeholders
• Strong risk management and governance capability
• Experience driving change and uplifting delivery standards

Desirable

• Experience with content management or information management platforms
• Exposure to SAP and/or Oracle ERP environments
• Experience delivering cloud migration or digital transformation initiatives

Additional Information

• Melbourne-based role (onsite/hybrid expectations apply)
• Initial engagement of approximately 12 months, with potential extension
• Candidates with Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a clearance are desirable but not essential
• A consultative, outcome-driven approach is critical for success in this role
